momma's and beverages

t-shirt: primark, mom jeans: river island

Hola kids! So I bought a lovely new outfit today! The weather is so lushous at the moment, so I needed a slightly more fitting outfit for the climate, so ta dah!

Now I've been debating on Mom jeans for a while now, I went off the idea when I tried on a less that flattering pair in Republic a few months back, but I spied these beauties in River Island and thought I'd give them a second chance. Thank goodness I did because I am officially in love! They are so comfy and the light, slightly acid wash colour is perfect for this kind of weather. Highly recommend these, at £40 they are a stretch money wise, but they come with a thick belt, and they are very well made so it's really worth it.

I thought this tee was adorable, and it's a nice fit on me, so I bought it. Pretty simple explanation for that one really.

Hope everyone is enjoying their easter, and hope the weather is as wonderful where you are, like it is here in London!

childs plaid

jumper: gap, skirt: new look (generation 915), shoes: next

As you fellow student may know, it was loan day earlier this week, and of course I may have spent a fair bit on some fabulous new purchases! Included in this spree was this beautiful skirt and these amazing shoes.
The blue version of this jumper was featured in an earlier post, so it's identical to that one bar the colour, extra comfy, it's been washed a fair few times and it's still kept it's shape and size, so no complaints there!
Now, on to the wonderfulness of this skirt, as you can tell by the way I'm gushing, I'm pretty besotted with it. And who can blame me? I've taken to shopping in the Generation 915 collection in New Look, I know it's technically the kiddies section, but come on! A piece this beautiful shouldn't have an age limit, well not to me anyway. And because it's a kids item, the price was a little cheaper than it would have been in the regular adult range, it is so comfy, also very flattering and fits very well, doesn't bunch up and I'm not forever adjusting it, which I've had a problem with mainly with skirts. So I also cannot complain about this one!
And now the best til last I feel, these wonderful shoes, I had a similar pair a few years back from New Look, but unfortunately I wore the hell out of them, and they were unrecognisable after about 3/4 months of wear, so I was determined to find a decent, well made and sturdy pair of flats like this. And hey presto, I found the perfect pair in Next, I hadn't had chance to wear them in before I went out in them today, but to be honest I really didn't need to, these are the comfiest things, and so cute with the entire ensemble.

Loving my easter break, lots of work and lots of family time, couldn't ask for more! Hope everyone's enjoying the break if it's started for you, if not, have a lovely week!

it's an animal thing

dress: topshop, jumper: zara

Ahh, I had the best discovery on the weekend. I visited home to see my new foster brother and I had a wee old rummage around my closet and found about 20 items of clothing that I haven't worn in about 3/4 years! This is a uniform dress from back when I worked for Topshop (Summer 2011) and I bought the jumper to go with it, it's the most adorable outfit ever, and I stopped wearing it when the dress and jumper got too small as I grew up, but now nearly 4 years later it fits again, and it's the cutest little ensemble with my patent black brogues and tights.

The weather has taken an ugly turn again, feels almost like winter again! Too cold and I am a misery for it! Assignments and Practical Assessments are taking over my life at the moment, Easter break this Friday cannot come any quicker! 2 weeks off to regain some sanity!

Hope everyone is having a super week!

~ you should be here with me instead.

galaxy tee: missguided
wet look leggings: internacionale
high tops: primark

This is a bit of a lazy day outfit at the moment, but it's cute enough right? This galaxy print is doing it for me at the moment as well! It's beautiful, lazy but still something about it. Plus the leggings are BEYOND comfortable, comfortable is a vast understatement.
And the cutest shoes, can't be affording converses at the moment so these are a great sub! And at only £7 who's complaining? NOT ME.
How cute are my nails also? You may all be surprised to learn that these are cheap stick-on nails from ....wait for it... PRIMARK. £1, with glue included! The glue is durable as well, I never expect much from cheap glue, but it's been 4 days of wearing them now, and none of them are even loose, so I'm very pleased. There were plenty of other patterns to choose from too, all really cute! I'm too lazy to do my own nail art at the moment as well, plus I left all my nail equipment in London, so this was a happy alternative!
1 week left at home for Easter, and I'm having a lovely time at home having a break, although I'm not really having a break I have 6 essays to do, filming on Wednesday and Thursday so I'm learning lines, catching up on voice journals, singing journals, acting journals, dance journals, stage combat journals, honestly it's never ending at the moment! But I'm getting on top of everything, slowly but surely.
I'm sure everyone's having a lovely Easter, although most people have returned to studies now! Seems to be just LCM that can't organise an Easter break that actually included Easter Sunday.. We had the long weekend, 4 days of study THEN our 2 week Easter break... perfectly normal, right? No.
